-Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport (CAI), a dedicated representative will greet you, assist with any visa formalities, and ensure a smooth passage through customs. Enjoy a private, comfortable transfer with your English-speaking representative to the iconic Hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to unwind, explore the hotel’s tranquil gardens, or simply relax.
After breakfast, you will head to visit the best places that anyone can see on an Egypt trip. Embark on a private guided tour to witness the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx.
After visiting the Great Pyramids, head to Saqqara. You will explore the oldest complete stone pyramid, the Djoser Step Pyramid.
Then enjoy a memorable lunch at one of the best local restaurants.
Back to the hotel and overnight
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Cairo Airport with assistance for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to board your luxurious Nile Cruise. After settling into your deluxe cabin and enjoying lunch onboard, embark on your first Luxor exploration. Your private guide will lead you to the monumental Karnak Temple Complex, the largest ancient religious site in the world, and the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple. In the evening, experience local Egyptian music onboard as you begin your serene journey.
Awake on the Nile and enjoy breakfast as your cruise docks. Today, explore Luxor’s legendary West Bank, the ancient necropolis of Thebes. Venture into the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of pharaohs. Your private guide will facilitate your visit to selected tombs, with the option to explore the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun (requires an additional ticket, payable locally). Continue to the Valley of the Queens, the burial site for royal wives and children, and explore the exquisite Tomb of Nefertari (often requires a separate, higher-priced ticket, payable locally, and access can be limited). Conclude your West Bank tour with visits to the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the colossal Colossi of Memnon. Your cruise will then sail to Edfu, docking overnight.
After breakfast, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Return to the ship and continue sailing south. Enjoy breakfast on your cruise before disembarking in Aswan. You will be privately transferred to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the elegant Residence. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the rich Christian heritage of Coptic Cairo, exploring sites such as the ancient Babylon Fortress remnants and the iconic Hanging Church.
After breakfast, delve into Egypt’s unparalleled archaeological riches. With your private guide, visit the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world’s largest archaeological museum, housing the complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), home to the awe-inspiring Royal Mummy Hall.
