Day 1Cairo to Fayoum Oasis

Your adventure begins with an 8:00 AM pickup from your Cairo hotel. You’ll journey to the lush Fayoum Oasis, a stark contrast to the surrounding desert. Explore the captivating Wadi El-Rayan and its stunning waterfalls, a unique geological feature in Egypt. Visit the serene Qaroun Lake and the historic Qaroun Citadel, offering panoramic views. Finally, discover the charming Tunis Village, famous for its vibrant arts scene and a visit to its renowned Pottery School. Enjoy a beautiful sunset before settling into your comfortable ecolodge in Tunis Village.

Day 2Fayoum to Bahariya Oasis – Black Desert & Camping Under the Stars

After breakfast at your ecolodge, you’ll travel to the Bahariya Oasis, your gateway to the Western Desert. Relax and enjoy lunch before embarking on a thrilling 4×4 adventure into the Black Desert, a volcanic region with unique, dark-colored mountains formed over 80 million years. Visit AlHaiz Village and experience the natural hot and cold springs. Continue to Crystal Valley, a fascinating area with abundant quartz formations and small caves. Then, journey to Aqapat Valley, historically part of the spice route and the ancient gateway to the White Desert, once a sea millions of years ago. Explore Mushroom Valley and the Valley of the Tents in the Old White Desert, marveling at their unique rock formations. Finally, arrive at the New White Desert, where you’ll witness the iconic wind-sculpted rock formations that resemble animals like chickens, rabbits, horses, and camels.
