Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Today, immerse yourself in Egypt’s unparalleled archaeological treasures. Visit the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world’s largest archaeological museum. Explore its impressive collection, including the colossal statue of Ramses II and (as of July 2025) the entire Tutankhamun collection. Continue to the historic Citadel of Saladin, offering panoramic views of Cairo, and admire the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque within its walls. After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to board your luxurious 5-star Nile cruise ship. After settling in and enjoying lunch onboard, embark on your first Aswan excursions. Marvel at the engineering marvel of the High Dam and visit the enchanting Philae Temple, a tribute to the goddess Isis, famously relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from flooding. Early morning, embark on a domestic flight south to Abu Simbel (approx. 30-minute flight each way).
